News Ticker: Kid Rock, XM/Sirius and David Gilmour
Following last year’s Waffle House brawl, Kid Rock was sentenced to a year of probation, six hours of anger management, 80 hours of community service and $1,000.
FCC commissioner Michael Copps voted against the Sirius/XM satellite radio merger yesterday. The deal now hinges on the vote of a fellow commissioner.
Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour will release a live CD/DVD entitled Live at Gdansk on September 16. The album draws from both the Floyd catalog and Gilmour’s own On An Island.
